RECREATIONAL DRIVING RANGE
The Pfau Course at Indiana University’s recreational driving range offers a 25-station driving range for the enjoyment of golfers of all ages and skill levels. The space features both grass and golf mat hitting areas.
Visitors can utilize a new, state-of-the-art, automatic driving range golf ball machine upon their arrival. Individual buckets contain 75 balls and cost $12. You can also purchase a 10-bucket pass for $110, or a 20-bucket pass for $200.
Visitors have three ways to purchase range balls:
- With a credit card at the ball machine;
- Download the SELECTpi App to your phone and make your purchases through the app. By utilizing the app, you can select/purchase your bucket option on your phone and then scan a QR code to have the balls dispensed;
- Visit the Pfau Course Pro Shop and purchase a 10 or 20-bucket gift card. You will be able to swipe the gift card at the ball machine to have the range balls dispensed.
Hours of operation for the ball machine during the spring and summer golf season are Monday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sunday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. In the fall, hours of operation are Monday 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Hours of operation for the ball machine during the winter season is 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The recreational driving range is accessible by utilizing the Discovery Parkway entrance to the new IU Health Regional Academic Health Center off the 45/46 bypass, which is south of the entrance to The Pfau Course at Indiana University.
